Jimmy Carter has embraced just about everything America is against, befriends dictators such as Cuba’s Castro and Venezuela’s Chavez, chides Israel for attacking Gaza in an attempt to free an Israeli soldier and stop rocket fire into Israel, befriends leaders of Hezbollah and broadly undermines America’s foreign policy.

Apparently not happy with his past “accomplishments”, he now calls anyone who disagrees with Obama a racist which only serves to shut down any further discussion on Obama’s policies.

Carter spoke out, concerned about what he sees as racism by saying,

I think an overwhelming portion of the intensely demonstrated animosity toward President Barack Obama is based on the fact that he is a black man, that he’s African-American,” Carter told NBC News. “I live in the South, and I’ve seen the South come a long way, and I’ve seen the rest of the country that shares the South’s attitude toward minority groups at that time, particularly African-Americans.

That racism inclination still exists, and I think it’s bubbled up to the surface because of belief among many white people — not just in the South but around the country — that African-Americans are not qualified to lead this great country. It’s an abominable circumstance, and it grieves me and concerns me very deeply.

What this means is that the black community will never again be able to disagree with the policies of a white president for to do so is tantamount to racism.

While some say Carter is a great man, which is arguable, it is more likely that he is a bitter man with a chip on his shoulder attempting to overshadow his dismal presidential legacy with more appalling positions on the world political scene of the present.

At the end of the day Mr. Carter does more harm than good and should probably just sit down and shut up.
